UHC Reports Enrollment for 2nd Quarter 2026

Medicare Supplement market leader United Healthcare (UHC) released 2nd quarter 2026 financials on July 16th, reporting a 10,000 decrease in Medicare Supplement lives in 2nd quarter.  The UHC enrollment table below features Standardized and Modernized policy in-force counts of 4,260,000 as of 6/30/2026, which is a 45,000 decrease in the past 12 months and the lowest UHC Medicare Supplement in-force counts since 2016.  UHC continues to hold the largest market share in the Medicare Supplement market by a wide margin.

This UHC enrollment table shows Medicare Advantage enrollment counts of 7,565,000 as of 6/30/2026, a 785,000 decrease in the past 12 months.  The 785,000 enrollment decrease in the past year is a 9.4% decrease over the Medicare Advantage enrollment counts as of 6/30/2025. 

This UHC enrollment table shows Medicare PDP enrollment counts of 2,710,000 as of 6/30/2026, a 90,000 decrease in the past 12 months.  The 90,000 enrollment decrease in the past year is a 3.2% decrease over the Medicare PDP enrollment counts as of 6/30/2025.
