Broker Incentives for Ancillary Products - July 2026 Update

Insurance companies that operate in the brokerage ancillary market typically offer per policy bonuses to encourage agents to sell their products.  These bonuses go beyond traditional commission schedules and often apply to a carrier’s suite of ancillary product offerings.

Below is a list of several carriers’ most recent publicly available incentive programs.  Incentive plan information is unknown for some carriers. We’ll continue to make updates as additional information becomes available.

Notable Changes:‍

  • Bankers Fidelity disclosed payment per policy for a more extended list of products‍

  • Manhattan Life showed that the benefits for applicable policies were given in vacation credits‍

  • Mutual of Omaha added a per-policy bonus for Hospital Indemnity products‍

  • Wellabe increased their per-policy bonus after 10 total policies
