Elevance Health Announces 1st Quarter 2026 Results

Elevance Health (formerly Anthem, Inc.) released 1st quarter 2026 financials on April 22nd, reporting an increase of 6,000 Medicare Supplement lives in the 1st quarter and an increase of 12,000 Medicare Supplement lives over the past 12 months.  The Elevance Health enrollment table below features Medicare Supplement policy in-force counts of 888,000 as of 3/31/2026.  The enrollment increase of 12,000 in the past 12 months is a 1.4% increase relative to the in-force lives at 3/31/2025.  CSG Actuarial projects Elevance’s Medicare Supplement sales at 7th in the overall market in the past 12 months.

This Elevance Health enrollment table shows Medicare Advantage enrollment counts of 1,899,000 as of 3/31/2026, a 356,000 decrease in the past 12 months.  The 356,000 enrollment decrease in the past 12 months is a 15.8% decrease over the Medicare Advantage enrollment counts at 3/31/2025.
