CVS Health Medicare Supplement Enrollment Decreases Q1

For 1st quarter 2026, CVS Health reported Medicare Supplement member in-force counts of 1,192,000, a decrease of 10,000 in the past quarter and 61,000 over the past 12 months.  The 61,000 decrease in membership in the past 12 months is a 4.9% decrease relative to the membership on 3/31/2025.  The table below shows CVS Health’s Medicare Supplement enrollment counts by quarter since 1st quarter 2019.  CSG Actuarial projects CVS Health’s Medicare Supplement sales to be in the top 10 in the overall market over the past 12 months.

CVS Health reported 1st quarter 2026 Medicare Advantage lives of 4,175,000, which is a 2.2% decrease over 4th quarter 2025 and a 1.1% decrease over 1st quarter 2025.  The table below shows CVS Health’s Medicare Advantage enrollment counts by quarter since 1st quarter 2019.  CVS Health’s Medicare Advantage lives rank 3rd in the market as of 1st quarter 2026.

CVS Health reported 1st quarter 2026 Medicare PDP lives of 3,889,000, a 3.8% decrease over 4th quarter 2025 and a 5.0% decrease over 1st quarter 2025.  The table below shows CVS Health’s Medicare PDP enrollment counts by quarter since 1st quarter 2019.
